Here and Now: Though a Veteran’s Lens was a photography initiative for local Veterans. A total of 14 Veterans explored how photography can be used as a medium to look at and interpret one’s experience.

When we open the new hospitals, we want our “Art on the Walls” program to feature photographs taken by UF Health employees – one photograph in each patient room – to highlight our hidden talents, as well as positively impact the patient environment.

When a partnership developed between the Harn and Arts in Medicine utilizing the museum’s meditative rock garden in the new Asian wing, Amy and Madeline recognized that the project seemed perfect for Lindsey, and would allow her to experience the unique outside world of the Asian Rock Garden from inside her hospital room.

In recognition of ALS Awareness Month, please join us in celebrating original works of art by Sandra Murphy-Pak, an artist and colleague, living with ALS. Footwork is a compilation of her recent work and an exploration in how an artist can continue to work without use of her hands.
