The Collection

UF Health is committed to collecting high-quality fine art for its clinics and hospitals. While framed posters and reproductions are by far the more economical way of to decorate a facility, they do not command attention, nor do they call to the human spirit.

We believe that there is no substitute for the beautiful and sublime experience provided by original works of art. Our collection ranges from local and regional landscape artists to contemporary American printmakers, cultural textiles, sculpture and much more.

While the collection grows to include artists from all over the world, the cornerstone of our art installations is the patient/artist collaboration created during the Arts in Medicine experience. Color and inspiration can be found throughout the hospital – the result of art created by patients, families and staff.
