Creating Healthy Communities: A Florida Arts in Health Forum

With the overarching aim of amplifying the power of arts and culture to connect communities and enhance health and well-being, Florida-based artists and arts in health champions are invited to join UF Health Shands Arts in Medicine for Creating Health Communities: A Florida Arts in Health Forum.

This first-of-its-kind event will connect over 100 Florida-based artists and arts in health champions with key knowledge and resources from the field of arts in health.

About the Forum

A one-day gathering featuring key takeaways from the recent Creating Healthy Communities Convening at NJPAC.

We’ll spotlight the latest in arts in health across Florida, with a special focus on arts prescribing. If you’re a Florida-based artist or champion of the arts at the intersection of arts and health, this forum is for you!

Join us on Thursday, April 30th, 2026 from 10am to 4pm in beautiful Gainesville, FL for a forum that will educate, inspire, and foster connection between creatives who strive to spark wellness through the arts within Florida communities.

This event is tailored to Florida-based arts in health champions and is free to attend.
