Meditation for Beginners

Enjoy a seated 25-minute retreat from the comfort of your home or office.

The struggles of the last few years have awakened a call to cultivate more effective ways of coping with life’s stressors. Together, we can learn how to create a safe refuge within ourselves, how to offer greater compassion towards ourselves and others, and how to rest with greater ease in our lives. We can even remember to smile, relax and enjoy the small, beautiful moments in life.

This virtual, guided mindfulness meditation class is held every Monday from 4:30-5pm via Zoom, by Nancy Lasseter, Senior Instructor for Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Arts in Medicine Wellness Instructor, and UF Mindfulness and former Mindfulness in Medicine teacher.
