This program of free weekly dance classes designed for participants over 60 with the focus on fun, fitness, creativity, and community using easy dance techniques from jazz, modern, ballet, and various national styles that contribute to experiencing the joy of motion. By creating an original dance almost every week, participants have fun with others, develop a sense of accomplishment and help retain independence through maintaining and enhancing fitness, and general wellness. Wear clothing and footwear that are comfortable for moving on whatever surface you are using. For Zoom attendees, have a chair without arms handy.
A medical waiver is required and can be found on Eldercare’s Website: www.eldercare.ufhealth.org. A physician’s signature may be required on this waiver prior to participation.
