Every Thursday from 1:45-2:45pm

Encore Dancers Workshop provides mature dancers with an opportunity to continue their practice in an adult- friendly environment. The sessions consist of warm up, skills and conditioning, creative exercises, and dance phrase work using concepts primarily from ballet and modern dance and incorporating input from participants. The classes focus on fun, fitness, community, collaboration, and goals important to the group. If you are dancing and/or have danced in your recent or even distant past, please join us and keep on dancing forever.

Encore is offered both in person at the Senior Recreation Center (5701 NW 34th Blvd) and online via Zoom. The class is instructed by Rusti Brandman, who recommends that participants wear clothing and footwear that are comfortable for moving on whatever surface you are using. For Zoom attendees, have a chair without arms handy.
