Arts in Medicine is proud to collaborate with Molly Kempson to present Wild Florida, a coloring book full of art directly inspired by the flora and fauna found in the North Florida area.
Artist Statement:
Molly Kempson is an artist, letterpress printer, and art educator living in Gainesville, Florida. Her artwork is informed by the flora, fauna, vernacular architecture, and language of the American South and she produces linocut and letterpress prints under the imprint Spotty Boy Press. She has been an elementary art educator for over a decade, an artist in residence at UF Health Shands Arts in Medicine since 2016, and teaches for the Center for Arts in Medicine at the University of Florida.
