Harn Museum’s “Art After Dark” event showcases AIM practitioners

On Thursday, June 25th, Arts in Medicine (AIM) dancers and musicians will take center stage at the popular “Art After Dark” event hosted at the Harn Museum of Art in Gainesville, FL.

Performing an original dance first featured at the recent Creating Healthy Communities: A Florida Arts in Health Forum, visiting J1 scholar and dancer Akshata Parekh will perform next to Lucia

The dance serves as an interpretive expression of the work AIM practitioners do in the UF Health Greater Gainesville clinical spaces.

Live, original music will be performed by AIM practitioners Ricky Kendall and Jahirah Williams to accompany the dance.

Join us from 6-9pm on Thursday, June 25th. Admission is free and refreshments and light bites will be provided.
