Drawing While Being Drawn: Art Exhibit & Opening Reception

Join Arts in Medicine and visual and comic artist Terrence Ho for the opening reception of the art exhibit “Drawing While Being Drawn.”

The exhibit features a number of drawings and sketches made during Terrence’s many treatments and procedures at multiple UF Health clinics.

“I am constantly drawing. This exhibit is the result of that practice—an initially unintentional record of healthcare chronicled with live drawings done in the moment. While the comic created for UF Health Shands Arts in Medicine is driven by my own story, my main hope for the exhibition is to convey and multiply my appreciation for everyone at UF Health and beyond who cares for us when we are sick, confused, desperate, resigned, or resolute.”
—Terrence Ho
