Research Coordinator Description

UF Health Shands Arts in Medicine is seeking a Community-Engaged Research and Evaluation Specialist to design and implement community-engaged research and program evaluation activities. The coordinator works closely with Arts in Health Ocala Metro (AIHOM) to support the design, implementation, and reporting of community-engaged research and/or program evaluation. Building upon community-engaged models and study designs that are created in response to community strengths and resources, the coordinator will work with program partners at AIHOM to identify questions, uncover new insights, and lead to program innovations and decisions informed by the community. In this role, the coordinator will develop and implement a strategy to guide the coordination of community-engaged research and program evaluation activities from start to finish.  

UF Health Shands Arts in Medicine is comprised of a team of 16 artists in residence working in both pediatric and adult clinical settings and in the community. Our mission is to deliver patient-led creative engagement to humanize healthcare experiences and enhance the health and wellbeing of our community. Our team is integrated into our academic medical center in support of UF Health’s mission of excellence in patient care, research and education.  

We are seeking a highly-skilled and experienced program evaluation and research specialist who possesses excellent communication and partnership skills and a desire to use their research and evaluation skills to advance community engagement in the arts toward health and well-being.

*Remote and flexible work hours   

*Compensation starting at $62,000 commensurate with experience, results and deliverables-based
