Qigong for Wellbeing, originally held Mondays at 5:30pm, has moved!
Starting February 23rd, the class (now titled Midday Stretch & Renew) will be offered every Tuesday at 11:30am. The class remains free of charge and open to all, via Zoom (a free video-conferencing platform that allows our team to teach classes in real-time). (click here for a simple guide to using Zoom)
During these challenging months, inviting a new, positive way to process what we are experiencing can be helpful. Midday Stretch & Renew explores the core therapeutic ingredients of Tai Chi through gentle, slow movement, mindfulness, and breath awareness (a practice known as Qigong).
Meditation and mindful movement are shown to release stress in the body, and Qigong combines the two to harness the therapeutic benefits.
