Visual Artists in Residence are professional artists employed by Arts in Medicine to visit patients at the bedside, facilitating creative art activities of their choosing, with their condition and capabilities in mind. These activities can be anything from painting a canvas, molding a paper-clay figure, origami, and more. Arts in Medicine Visual Art visits can be requested for inpatients by calling Arts in Medicine at (352) 733-0880 Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
