Sandra Murphy-Pak is an artist living with ALS. She holds a BFA in painting from the Atlanta College of Art and a Master’s in Arts Education from the University of Florida. She is the mother of three amazing daughters.
Sandra was first a volunteer with Arts in Medicine, then became a member of the artists in residence team, delivering her compassionate brand of visual arts engagement with patients at the bedside. She created community driven Arts in Medicine projects both here in the United states and in Africa.
Now, painting with only her feet, Sandra is engaged in creating a potent body of work that is both inspirational and visually powerful as she navigates her inner world, giving us an outward expression of resilience and joy.
