UF Health Musicians in Residence work in the hospital daily, bringing live music to patients experiencing serious health challenges. They form relationships with patients that span days, weeks, and sometimes years. And for those times when a patient spends their final days hospitalized, musicians are there to provide comfort to the patient and to the family. The Tiny Bed Sessions are a glimpse into the life of a musician in the hospital, and the bonds that can be created through song.
In addition to Musicians in Residence, Arts in Medicine is fortunate to have visiting artists who donate their time and talent at the bedside of patients at UF Health.
