Stop by the Alachua County Library: Headquarters Branch (401 E University Avenue) to view an art exhibit featuring works by Art in Motion participants. The exhibit will be on display February 1-March 31, 2015. There will be a reception on Saturday, February 28th from 2-4pm with the opportunity to partake in light refreshments and short performances by Dance for Life and Sing for Life.
Art in Motion is a weekly visual arts workshop designed for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease and other movement disorders that takes place on Wednesday afternoons from 2-4 in the Criser Cancer Resource Center. The workshop, led by Artist in Residence, Madeline Austin, is complementary; caregivers and partners are welcome.
