Studio E: The Epilepsy Art Therapy Program

Expressions of Connection

Please join UF Health Shands Arts in Medicine in celebrating original works of art by Studio E: The Epilepsy Art Therapy Program.  The work will be on display October 3-31, 2016.  Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 9AM-5PM.  An Artist Reception will be held on Thursday, October 13th from 5-6pm.  Complementary valet parking is available and everyone is welcome to attend.

Studio E is an eight-week art therapy program sponsored by the Epilepsy Foundation and Lundbeck. Studio E aims to provide people living with epilepsy a forum to express themselves and their emotions through artistic media. Living with epilepsy can bring challenges, not only, to people’s physical wellness, but also, to their social, cognitive, and emotional experiences. Studio E is a nationally sponsored program that takes place in nearly 47 cities across the US. The works displayed in this show are a compilation of the local Studio E program.
